September 26, 2024: Yuma, AZ 85364 Fans at Thursday's league contest between the Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) and the host Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), observed Cortez's volleyball team top Yuma by a count of 3-0.
The Colts (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Coronado (Scottsdale, AZ). The Dons enter the 4A - Black Canyon contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Coronado was knocked off by Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Criminals meet the Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks (Maricopa, AZ) in a 4A - Black Canyon contest, on Monday, September 30. Yuma will attempt to move on its 0-7 season record. The Golden Hawks enter the contest with a 12-7 record after their 3-0 league win over Tempe (Tempe, AZ).
