Oregon High School Volleyball - Cascade over Newport
October 3, 2023: Turner, OR 97392 Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting Newport Cubs (Newport, OR), 3-0 in a league match.
Next up, the Cougars battle the Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) in a 4A Oregon West match, on Thursday, October 5. Cascade will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 8-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Stayton (Stayton, OR).
With the loss, Newport drops to 5-10 on the campaign. The Cubs travel to North Marion (Aurora, OR) to battle the Huskies in a 4A Oregon West match on Thursday, October 5. The Huskies come into the match with a record of 0-10. North Marion lost 3-0 in their recent league match against Sweet Home (Sweet Home, OR)
