September 21, 2023: Newport, OR 97365 In Thursday's league contest, the Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) volleyball squad were winner over the host Newport Cubs (Newport, OR), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Warriors face the North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR) in a 4A Oregon West contest, on Tuesday, September 26. Philomath will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record.
With the loss, Newport moves to 4-5 on the year. The Cubs travel to Gladstone (Gladstone, OR) to face the Gladiators in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 23. The Gladiators go into the contest with a record of 2-7. Gladstone lost 3-0 in their recent league contest against Crook County (Prineville, OR)
