Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA), 34-13 in a league battle.

With the win, Bishop McDevitt advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Central Dauphin (Harrisburg, PA) to play the Rams in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth battle on Friday, October 10. The Rams come into the match with a record of 3-4. Central Dauphin won 28-18 in their recent league match against Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Harrisburg Cougars (Harrisburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match, on Friday, October 10. Cumberland Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 7-0 record after their 45-7 league win over Altoona (Altoona, PA).
