Pennsylvania High School Football - Bishop McDevitt smashes Altoona

September 26, 2025: Altoona, PA 16602

The Bishop McDevitt Crusaders (Harrisburg, PA) football trounced the host Altoona Mountain Lions (Altoona, PA), 38-0 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Crusaders battle the Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game, on Friday, October 3. Bishop McDevitt will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 24-6 league win over Central Dauphin East (Harrisburg, PA).

The Mountain Lions (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA). The Cougars enter the Mid-Penn - Commonwealth game with a 6-0 record. In their last game, Harrisburg overwhelmed Carlisle (Carlisle, PA), 49-0, in a league game.
