In Friday's league game, the Union Pines Vikings (Cameron, NC) football team were victorious over the visiting Harnett Central Trojans (Angier, NC), by a score of 28-12.

The Vikings now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Southern Lee for a Carolina Pines 6A outing on Friday, October 10.

With the defeat, Harnett Central drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Trojans host West Johnston (Benson, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Carolina Pines 6A game on Friday, October 10.
