The Billerica Memorial Indians volleyball squad (Billerica, MA), was defeated 3-0 in Friday's league battle with the host Central Catholic Raiders (Lawrence, MA)

With the win, Central Catholic improves its record to 12-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Methuen (Methuen, MA) to face the Rangers in a Merrimack Valley I challenge on Monday, October 6. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 10-4. Methuen lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Chelmsford (North Chelmsford, MA)

Next, the Indians meet the Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) in a Merrimack Valley I challenge, on Monday, October 6. Billerica Memorial will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Golden Warriors come into the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 3-0 league win over Haverhill (Haverhill, MA).
