The Desert Hills Thunder walloped the visiting Hurricane Tigers football team by a count of 56-18 in Friday's league outing.

With the win, Desert Hills upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Thunder travel to Cedar (Cedar City, UT) to encounter the Reds in a 4A Region 9 outing on Wednesday, October 11. The Reds go into the outing with a record of 3-5. Cedar lost 31-28 in their recent league test against Dixie (St. George, UT)

With the loss, Hurricane drops to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Lincoln County (Panaca, NV) to confront the Lynx in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 11. The Lynx come into the test with a record of 3-3. Lincoln County won 46-2 in their recent league test against GV Christian (Henderson, NV)
