In Friday's league match, the host Desert Hills Thunder football squad scored a good 31-21 victory over the Snow Canyon Warriors.

In their next game, the Thunder clash with the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 match, on Friday, October 6. Desert Hills will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 62-7 league loss to Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT).

The Warriors (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Dixie (St. George, UT). The Flyers enter the 4A Region 9 match with a 4-4 record. In their last match, Dixie ran past Cedar (Cedar City, UT), 31-28, in a league match.
