The Mustangs (30-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Dike-New Hartford (Dike, IA). The Wolverines enter the non-league challenge with a 35-0 record. In their last challenge, Dike-New Hartford defeated Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hawks meet the Liberty Lightning (North Liberty, IA) in a Mississippi Valley - Valley challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Jefferson will attempt to move on its 1-28 season record.
