In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Montgomery Bears volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Lake Creek Lions.

The Bears (32-9) will now prepare for their challenge against College Station (College Station, TX). The Cougars enter the 5A Region III District 17 challenge with a 26-9 record. In their last challenge, College Station beat Brenham (Brenham, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions play the Huntsville Hornets (Huntsville, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Lake Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 16-20 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 17-24 record after their 3-2 league loss to Rudder (Bryan, TX).
