Texas High School Volleyball - Lake Creek over Montgomery

In Friday's league challenge, the visiting Lake Creek Lions volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Montgomery Bears.

The Lions (13-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Huntsville (Huntsville, TX). The Hornets enter the 5A Region III District 17 challenge with a 17-17 record. In their last challenge, Huntsville beat Rudder (Bryan, TX), 3-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears face the College Station Cougars (College Station, TX) in a 5A Region III District 17 test, on Tuesday, September 16. Montgomery will attempt to improve on its 27-8 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 19-9 record after their 3-0 league win over Brenham (Brenham, TX).
