The Cardinal Gibbons Crusaders volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Sanderson Spartans to 0 in the Crusaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Crusaders now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cary for a Triangle Six 6A/7A game on Tuesday, October 14. Cardinal Gibbons will play a Imps team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Middle Creek (Apex, NC). The Imps record now stands at 3-15.

With the loss, Sanderson drops to 6-15 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Felton Grove (Apex, NC) to play the Galaxy in a Triangle Six 6A/7A outing on Tuesday, October 14. The Galaxy come into the outing with a record of 5-15. Felton Grove lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC)
