Shelby-Rising City Huskies (Shelby, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting McCool Junction Mustangs (McCool Junction, NE), 3-0 in a league outing.

The Huskies now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they host Meridian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, October 14. Shelby-Rising City will play a Mustangs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Deshler (Deshler, NE). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-8.

With the loss, McCool Junction drops to 0-21 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Bruning-Davenport/Shickley (Bruning, NE) to confront the Eagles in a D1 District 7 game on Tuesday, October 14.
