Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Portage Central Mustangs (Portage, MI), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Lakeview improves its record to 37-9 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Caledonia (Caledonia, MI) to play the Fighting Scots in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 11. The Fighting Scots come into the challenge with a record of 26-18. Caledonia won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Plainwell (Plainwell, MI)
