In Friday's non-league match, the visiting McDowell Trojans football squad scored a good 28-14 victory over the Erie Royals.

The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their match against State College (State College, PA). The Little Lions enter the non-league match with a 9-1 record. In their last match, State College thwarted Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA), 58-55, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Royals confront the State College Little Lions (State College, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, November 8. Erie will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Little Lions enter the match with a 9-1 record after their 58-55 league win over Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA).
