November 13, 2023: Hardy, AR 72542 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR) and the visiting Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR), saw Highland's basketball squad hold off Sloan-Hendrix by a tally of 61-56.
With the victory, Highland improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Rebels host Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR) to play the Screamin Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, November 18. The Screamin Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Hillcrest lost 63-39 in their recent league challenge against Mammoth Spring (Mammoth Spring, AR)
Next up, the Greyhounds play the Wynne Yellowjackets (Wynne, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 14. Sloan-Hendrix will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record.
