Arkansas High School Basketball - Sloan-Hendrix holds off Highland
December 26, 2023: Hardy, AR 72542 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) and the host Highland Rebels (Hardy, AR), saw Sloan-Hendrix's basketball squad hold off Highland by a tally of 45-40.
With the victory, Sloan-Hendrix improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Osceola (Osceola, AR) to confront the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, December 27. The Seminoles come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Osceola won 82-60 in their recent league challenge against Gosnell (Gosnell, AR)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Nettleton Raiders (Jonesboro, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 27. Highland will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to Mountain Home (Mountain Home, AR).
