The Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the visiting Sharyland Rattlers to 35 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Chargers now possess a 11-1 record. They play next when they travel to McAllen Memorial for a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. Veterans Memorial will play a Mustangs team coming off a 61-23 non-league win over Rivera (Brownsville, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Sharyland falls to 7-3 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Lopez (Brownsville, TX) to play the Lobos in a non-league game on Saturday, November 16. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 1-3. Lopez won 61-22 in their recent non-league game against Hanna (Brownsville, TX)
