The Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored 57 points and limited the visiting Los Fresnos Falcons to 36 in the Chargers league triumph on Friday.

The Chargers now possess a 25-5 record. They play next when they travel to San Benito for a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, January 14. Veterans Memorial will play a Greyhounds team coming off a 50-47 league loss to Los Fresnos (Los Fresnos, TX). The Greyhounds record now stands at 19-9.

With the loss, Los Fresnos falls to 13-13 on the campaign. The Falcons host Harlingen (Harlingen, TX) to play the Cardinals in a 6A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, January 14.
