The Harlingen Cardinals basketball squad scored 41 points and held the visiting Veterans Memorial Chargers to 32 in the Cardinals league victory on Wednesday.

With the victory, Harlingen advances its record to 25-7 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Hanna (Brownsville, TX) to face the Golden Eagles in a 6A Region IV District 32 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-23.

The Chargers now own a 27-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hanna for a 6A Region IV District 32 match on Friday, January 24. Veterans Memorial will face a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 48-32 league loss to San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-23.
