Veterans Memorial Chargers (Brownsville, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host McAllen Memorial Mustangs (McAllen, TX), 61-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial upgrades its record to 12-1 on the year. The Chargers travel to Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX) to face the Raiders in a non-league match on Thursday, November 21. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 8-4. Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North won 60-24 in their recent non-league match against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (San Juan, TX)
