Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), 74-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Piedmont Community Charter upgrades its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Rams play the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Highland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 68-63 non-league win over Sugar Creek (Charlotte, NC).
