Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC), 62-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Cornerstone Charter upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cardinals host Eno River (Hillsborough, NC) to clash with the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Grizzlies clash with the Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 21. Clover Garden School will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record.
