California High School Basketball - Independence crushes McFarland

Independence Falcons (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host McFarland Cougars (McFarland, CA), 83-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Independence upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Falcons host Shafter (Shafter, CA) to clash with the Generals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Shafter lost 58-36 in their recent non-league bout against Centennial (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Arvin Bears (Arvin, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. McFarland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 64-38 non-league win over Hanford West (Hanford, CA).
