Lovejoy Leopards (Lucas, TX) fans left the game satisfied Thursday as they observed their football team run past the host Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX), 28-7 in a league test.

With the win, Lovejoy improves its record to 9-1 on the season. The Leopards travel to Pine Tree (Longview, TX) to confront the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, November 10. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 6-4. Pine Tree won 19-13 in their recent league test against Texas (Texarkana, TX)

With the loss, Melissa moves to 9-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Whitehouse (Whitehouse, TX) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league test on Friday, November 10. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 7-3. Whitehouse lost 30-28 in their recent league test against Marshall (Marshall, TX)
