The Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ) basketball crushed the visiting Independence Patriots (Glendale, AZ), 67-33 in Monday's non-league test.

The Colts (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ). The Coyotes go into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.

The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Thunderbird for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 21. Independence will encounter a Titans squad coming off a 82-72 non-league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ). The Titans record now stands at 0-1.
