Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host South Central Satellites (Union Mills, IN), 49-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Wheeler upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bearcats host Lowell (Lowell, IN) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Red Devils go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Lowell lost 75-58 in their recent non-league bout against Morgan Township (Valparaiso, IN)

Next up, the Satellites clash with the Hobart Brickies (Hobart, IN) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. South Central will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
