Indiana High School Basketball - South Central can't hold off Tri-Township

The Tri-Township Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting South Central Satellites to 37 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Hammond Academy of Science & Tech for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Tri-Township will battle a Hawks team coming off a 54-49 non-league loss to Oregon-Davis (Hamlet, IN). The Hawks record now stands at 5-9.

The Satellites (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against New Prairie (New Carlisle, IN). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, New Prairie was nudged by South Bend St. Joseph (South Bend, IN), 69-32, in a league contest.
