The Porter Ridge Pirates tipped the host West Cabarrus Wolverines basketball team by a final score of 62-61 in Tuesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Pirates face the Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league game, on Friday, November 25. Porter Ridge will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 69-67 non-league loss to Hough (Cornelius, NC).

With the defeat, West Cabarrus moves to 0-2 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Palisades (Charlotte, NC) to face the Pumas in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 29.
