Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Mooresville Blue Devils (Mooresville, NC), 74-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Porter Ridge upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Pirates travel to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 2-0. North Mecklenburg won 104-67 in their recent non-league bout against Providence (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Blue Devils clash with the Providence Panthers (Charlotte, NC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Mooresville will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 104-67 non-league loss to North Mecklenburg (Huntersville, NC).
