Desert Ridge Jaguars (Mesa, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), 35-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Desert Ridge upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Corona del Sol (Tempe, AZ) to clash with the Aztecs in a 6A Central bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Corona del Sol lost 41-34 in their recent non-league bout against Mountain Pointe (Phoenix, AZ)

Next up, the Bears clash with the Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Basha will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 63-37 non-league win over Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ).
