Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ) and the visiting Basha Bears (Chandler, AZ), saw Corona del Sol's basketball squad wallop Basha by a tally of 50-28.

With the victory, Corona del Sol improves its record to 11-10 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to confront the Hawks in a 6A Central challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. Highland won 34-29 in their recent league challenge against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ)
