Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Mountain Pointe Pride (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting Corona del Sol Aztecs (Tempe, AZ), saw Mountain Pointe's basketball squad knock off Corona del Sol by a count of 45-36.

With the victory, Mountain Pointe upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Pride host Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 3-0.

Next up, the Aztecs play the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 6. Corona del Sol will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Mountain Lions come into the challenge with a 6-0 record after their 55-20 non-league win over Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ).
