North Wilkes Vikings (Hays, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC), 53-12 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Wilkes upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Vikings host Starmount (Boonville, NC) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Starmount won 69-52 in their recent non-league bout against West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC)

Next up, the Buckin' Elks play the Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Elkin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 52-46 non-league loss to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC).
