Game Summary
We had our chances in this one, starting with Claire’s tidy 14th-minute corner kick that nobody was able to get a head on, and Rhea’s well-placed ball into their 18 that Kylie was nearly able to boot goalward. Their score came on a nice shot from the top of our 18 that was beyond EmmaT’s grasp for their 1-0 lead at the half. Eighteen minutes into the second, Rhea’s free kick found Dylan, whose attempt floated just over the net. We had a couple of chances on two late-game corners from Claire, and final one on avery good cross from Player of the Game Rhea that Claire couldn’t quite catch up to. We finished with 7 shots/4 on goal, to their 6-and-5, with EmmaT grabbing 4 saves.
