Utah High School Basketball - Riverton nips Brighton

Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT), 53-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Riverton upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Silverwolves travel to Murray (Murray, UT) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 7. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Coming up next, the Bengals confront the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) in a non-league battle, on Friday, December 2. Brighton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Sentinels come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 59-47 non-league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT).
