In Friday's non-league outing, the Brighton Bengals (Salt Lake City, UT) basketball squad beat the host Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT), by a count of 64-51.

The Bengals (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Alta (Sandy, UT). The Hawks enter the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Alta knocked off West Jordan (West Jordan, UT), 73-49, in a non-league game.

With the defeat, Mountain Ridge moves to 2-1 on the year. The Sentinels host Pleasant Grove (Pleasant Grove, UT) to face the Vikings in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 6. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 1-3. Pleasant Grove lost 50-44 in their recent non-league game against Hillcrest (Idaho Falls, ID)
