The Brighton Bengals basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Highland Rams to 48 in the Bengals league victory on Tuesday.

The Bengals now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Murray for a 5A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 13. Brighton will battle a Spartans team coming off a 60-50 non-league loss to Real Salt Lake Academy (Herriman, UT). The Spartans record now stands at 7-7.
