In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting South Bend Adams Eagles basketball team scored a close 56-49 win over the La Porte Slicers.

The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their contest against Niles (Niles, MI). The Vikings come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Niles was tipped by Three Rivers (Three Rivers, MI), 44-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Slicers battle the Plymouth Pilgrims/Rockies (Plymouth, IN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 6. La Porte will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record.
