The Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Kankakee Valley Kougars to 34 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolves now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Highland for a non-league game on Saturday, November 9. Hammond Central will confront a Trojans team coming off a 59-24 non-league loss to Chesterton (Chesterton, IN). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Kankakee Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Kougars travel to Crown Point (Crown Point, IN) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Saturday, November 9. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-0.
