The Chesterton Trojans basketball squad (Chesterton, IN), was nudged 42-36 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Hammond Central Wolves (Hammond, IN)

With the victory, Hammond Central advances its record to 12-3 on the year. The Wolves host Hammond Morton (Hammond, IN) to meet the Governors in a non-league battle on Friday, January 24. The Governors enter the battle with a record of 15-3.

The Trojans now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crown Point for a Duneland battle on Thursday, January 23. Chesterton will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 54-43 league loss to Merrillville (Merrillville, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-10.
