The Hammond Central Wolves basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Valparaiso Vikings to 46 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolves now have a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lawrence North for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Valparaiso falls to 8-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Fort Wayne Snider (Fort Wayne, IN) to confront the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28.
