Kodiak Bears (Kodiak, AK) backers exited the stadium content Saturday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the visiting Delta Huskies (Delta Junction, AK), 5-1 in a non-league game.

With the win, Kodiak betters its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Bears host Homer (Homer, AK) to battle the Mariners in a Northern Lights contest on Friday, November 14. The Mariners go into the contest with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Huskies play the Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) in a Aurora game, on Friday, November 14. Delta will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
