Prospect Knights (Mt. Prospect, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Buffalo Grove Bison (Buffalo Grove, IL), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL) to clash with the Saxons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Saxons go into the bout with a record of 6-0. Schaumburg won 52-51 in their recent league bout against Hoffman Estates (Hoffman Estates, IL)

Next up, the Bison clash with the Conant Cougars (Hoffman Estates, IL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Buffalo Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 41-30 non-league loss to Naperville North (Naperville, IL).
