Georgia High School Basketball - Seckinger fells Cherokee Bluff
December 1, 2023: Buford, GA 30519 Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA), 71-62 in a league bout.
With the win, Seckinger upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Madison County (Danielsville, GA) to clash with the Red Raiders in a AAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-0. Madison County won 88-60 in their recent league bout against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)
Next up, the Bears clash with the East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) in a AAAA Region 8 bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Cherokee Bluff will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Broncos go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 53-51 non-league loss to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA).
