Bishop Badgers (Bishop, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Nixon Mustangs (Laredo, TX), 72-40 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bishop upgrades its record to 8-4 on the season. The Badgers travel to United (Laredo, TX) to play the Longhorns in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 11-4. United won 69-49 in their recent non-league bout against Marshall (San Antonio, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Marshall Rams (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Nixon will attempt to upgrade on its 13-7 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 14-5 record after their 69-49 non-league loss to United (Laredo, TX).
