The Pioneer Diamondbacks basketball team (Mission, TX), dropped 41-27 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Rowe Warriors (McAllen, TX)

The Warriors now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial for a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, December 12.

The Diamondbacks (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Roma (Roma, TX). The Gladiators come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Roma dropped by Pearsall (Pearsall, TX), 54-49, in a non-league battle.
