Arkansas High School Basketball - St. Joseph holds off Jacksonville Lighthouse
December 3, 2022: Jacksonville, AR Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR) and the host Jacksonville Lighthouse Wolves (Jacksonville, AR), saw St. Joseph's basketball squad hold off Jacksonville Lighthouse by a tally of 37-30.
With the victory, St. Joseph improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR) to confront the Eagles in a 2A Region 5 challenge on Wednesday, December 7. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Cutter-Morning Star won 58-53 in their recent league challenge against England (England, AR)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Drew Central Pirates (Monticello, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, December 4. Jacksonville Lighthouse will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 54-50 non-league loss to Star City (Star City, AR).
