Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Osakis Silverstreaks (Osakis, MN), 69-68 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Jaguars travel to Ashby (Ashby, MN) to play the Arrows in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Arrows go into the bout with a record of 1-2. Ashby lost 46-35 in their recent league bout against Ortonville (Ortonville, MN)
